Toledo

Toledo is a beautiful old city with stupendous architecture. We first stopped to view the city from the top of a mountain, getting a fabulous view of the entire town.

Walking around the city was a bit cold, but the skies were clear and the sun was shining. There was a delicious cake in the window that I looked upon quite enviously. 

We stopped in the chapel to see one of El Greco's masterpieces. 

The views after the walking tour were gorgeous.

My day in Toledo ended with a drive through the mountains and a snack break in La Mancha, where Don Quixote supposedly stayed in the hotel.
