Sintra, Cascais and the Estoril Coast

Slopes, water and beautiful views awaited us in a journey along the coast and into the hills, driving along the area spotted with palaces around every corner.

Cascais is a true coastal city with a small port and delicious chicken curry, my lunch. They even had a smart car police vehicle, very fun!

The coastline was beautiful, white waves crashing against the sharp rocks, blue water shining against the horizon.

Up on the mountain, on a winding road, sat a beautiful palace. The rooms were ornate, the kitchen being my favorite with a hole in the very top acting as the chimney.
