The Hills of Mijas

Mijas is a small, hilltop village close to Costa del Sol in Andalusia.

The bus ride up to the top was a bit windy, but we made a stop along the way to catch a wonderful view of the coastline. Saying the town is small is an overestimate; the area was quaint with narrow little streets that focused around the main square.

They offer a donkey taxi service instead of the regular car services, part of the city attraction, I believe. It was a nice little town to wander around and enjoy a tasty cup of chocolate for a pre-dinner treat. I just couldn't get used to the late eating in Spain - I thought Italians ate late, nope, the Spaniards are the night owls!
