I successfully obtained my appointment for my permesso at the end of the month and have received my codice fiscale. These tidbits of news are not the most exciting news I have to share.
I road a scooter, well correction, I road on the back of a scooter and I believe it was just as awesome as actually driving the scooter, because I was able to sit back and enjoy the ride (while holding on really tight to the seat handles!). Manuel, one of my apartment mates, drove me to an apperitivo last night to meet some friends both old ones and new ones. We enjoyed drinks and snacks, very tasty and finished the evening off with some gelato, super tasty.
That about wraps up my Italian adventure update. Today I have enjoyed relaxing in my apartment, finished a bit of laundry and who knows what tonight will bring.
