A Morning Break to Reggio Emilia

Yesterday I took the morning off and ventured with a friend to Reggio Emilia, a small town about half an hour train ride away. After working on papers for Law and the Arts, a statistics project, and the impending studying I have to do for the Law and the Arts exam next week, I decided that a break was deserved, even if I just went on a trip to Turin.

Overall the town is full of parks and churches. All of the churches were beautiful inside, some more ornate than others; one even had a service going on inside, but the smell on incense was too strong to stay for long.

The park was a perfect spot for a lunchtime picnic on the bench; we enjoyed proscuitto crudo, cheese, bakery fresh bread, and strawberries.

It was a short trip to the city, but a very nice morning walking around the small town, just enjoying the fresh air for a bit.
